I had an opportunity to be present at the Coppet Concourse d’Elégance in Switzerland, thanks to the invitation of Donald Weberg from the Garage Style Magazine.
I have been passionate about cars since my childhood. Mechanics and precision mechanics is what keeps me young. I love woman but I love cars more.
It was a beautiful and sunny day when we arrived at the Chateau of Coppet on Saturday, 24 of June. I was overwhelmed by the big rare selection of spectacular classic automobiles rarely seen in public.
The Suisse people are special: these classic cars are not sold but stay in the famile and go on from father to daughter, the organizer co-ower has explaind me.
Admiring of these cars during two days and being surrounded by a beautful interesting public, I have voted for the 1964 Lamborghini 3500gt in a baby blue colour and a very rare Maserati Quattroporte in a show room condition.
The Lamborghini was the Best in Show: the baby blue sky color of the woman eyes of the owner is matching the car color, how romantic! it seems to be a very good investement at the time as the car is estimated around two million Swiss Frank, which is two million dollars.
I think that investing and restoring Classic cars you can actually own a much exiting car than that the one bougth new today.
I am looking forward to visit and bring you more from other great Concours d’Elégance events.
